
Objectives
To advance education of Black women graduates, by delivering structured cohort-based programs and mentorship that build in-demand skills, in order to support their successful transition from post-secondary education into meaningful employment.

To advance education by delivering culturally relevant educational programming in schools and community settings for Black girls, by designing and facilitating curriculum, workshops, and sponsorship opportunities that build academic confidence, career awareness, and leadership skills, in order to support their educational achievement and future career readiness.

To advance education by organizing and delivering events for Black Nova Scotian and Black Canadian communities, that increase awareness of educational, professional, and economic opportunities available to Black women and girls.

To advance education by providing business and entrepreneurship training to Black girls and young women, by delivering learning experiences, and mentorship programs, in order to develop the knowledge and skills required to establish and grow sustainable enterprises.

To advance education by connecting Black women and girls with experienced professionals and community leaders, by operating structured mentorship programs, and events, in order to build the professional knowledge, skills, and networks necessary for career advancement and economic participation.

To raise, obtain, receive, and maintain a fund or funds to support the objects and activities of the Corporation and to support and make gifts, in cash or in kind, to organizations that are “qualified donees” under the Income Tax Act (Canada).
To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the above-mentioned charitable purposes.
