To everyone who joined us for Black Girls Gather in Fredericton, Charlottetown, and St. John's, thank you!
Over the past few months, we had the incredible opportunity to connect with more than 100 Black women and girls across New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Each gathering was filled with meaningful conversations, shared experiences, laughter, and opportunities to build community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, shared their stories, and helped create welcoming spaces where Black women and girls could connect, feel seen, and celebrate one another.
And this is just the beginning!
Our vision has always been to build lasting connections and a strong, supportive community of Black women and girls across Atlantic Canada.
We are excited to continue building on the relationships formed during these gatherings and look forward to bringing everyone together again soon!

Black Girls Gather equips Black women graduates and entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies, and networks necessary to realize their full potential. Through skill development, mentorship, and community connection, we support participants in strengthening their economic mobility, leadership capacity, and entrepreneurial success. We are committed to fostering agency, ensuring that Black women are empowered to define, pursue, and sustain their own pathways to achievement.
What We Offer
Black Girls Gather’s Graduate to Employment Program is a four-month program that matches Black women graduates with mentors in Atlantic Canada.
Black Girls Gather’s Entrepreneurship Program is an exceptional program designed to assist Black women entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses through education, mentorship, networking and member support.
The Black Girls Gather Community Care Pathway provides a safe space for this kind of self-care work to happen.
